Description

Collect images by different artists from the numerous internet gallaries. The images you select must be in color, Remember that you must select images that utilize color in specific ways, You will need to select three images for each of the following (monochromatic, analogous, complementary, split complementary, triadic and tetrad). The images you select should strongly exhibit these uses of color.

Objective

The purpose of this assignment is to expose the student to as many artists and the possible uses of color. Through research students will develop a collection of images related to the class, increase the student's awareness of design styles and techniques and utilize their language skills in the form of writing.

Presentation

After you have selected your images construct a pdf. file with each image on a page. In the area underneath the image type the name of the artist, the title of the work, media and date. Below that type three or four lines detailing why you selected each work. Your research paper must have a minimum of eighteen (18) images. Please provide, table of contents listing all images, number each page and document your sources.
