Q1) Determining probability when guessing answers.

Test comprise of multiple- choice questions each having 4 possible answers (a, b, c, d) one of which is right. Suppose that you guess answers to six such questions.

a) Use multiplication rule to determine probability that first two guesses are wrong and last four guesses are right. That is, determine p(WWCCCC), where C denotes correct answer and W denotes a wrong answer.

b) Beginning with WWCCCC, make complete list of the different possible arrangements of 2 wrong answers and 4 correct answers, then determine the probability for each entry in the list.

c) Based on preceding results, find out the probability of getting exactly 4 correct answers when six guesses are made?
