In a survey of 500 television viewers with access to cable TV, each was asked whether they agreed with the statement, "Overall, I find the quality of news on cable networks ( such as CNN, FOX, CNBC, and MSNBC) to be better than news on the ABC, CBS, and NBC networks." A total of 248 viewers agreed with the statement. (Note: the survey respondents were contacted vial e-mail on the Internte).
