Q1) Acceptance sampling is utilized to monitor quality of incoming raw materials. Assume a purchaser of electronic components permits 1% of components to be defective. To make sure the quality of incoming parts, purchaser or manufacturer normally samples 20 parts and allows 1 defect.

a) Determine the likelihood of accepting a lot which is 1% defective?

b) If quality of incoming lot was actually 2%, determine the likelihood of accepting it.

c) If quality of incoming lot was actually 5%, determine the likelihood of accepting it.
