A tube is partially and vertically inserted into a container of water. Two sequential resonant frequencies are heard when a 215-Hz tuning is struck and held atop the end of the tube that is out of the water. One resonant frequency is heard when the top of the tube is 15cm from the surface of the water. Another resonant frequency is heard when the top of the tube is 95cm from the surface of the water.
