Three ropes pull on a knot shown in (Figure 1) . The knot is not accelerating. A partially completed force diagram for the knot is shown in the figure (Figure 2) . Use Newton's second law to determine the magnitudes of the forces that ropes 2 and 3 exert on the knot. Suppose that T1onK = 1000 N .
