Problem 1. A single-storey factory is composed of a number of steel truss structures, as shown in the following figure. For all bars, area A=1000 mm2, E=200 GPa.

The maximum vertical load and horizontal load have been identified and shown in the figure. Under this loading condition, you are asked to determine the horizontal deflection of joint C.
