Choose two primary documents from the textbook readings from Weeks 1, 2 and/or 3. Use the worksheet provided to determine the arguments made in the documents and context of the documents. Write a 400-500 word essay that puts these documents in conversation with one another. In other words, the documents must relate to each other and you must demonstrate an understanding of the documents to determine how they relate. You must use the textbook and content modules to provide context. Also, students must cite all information borrowed. If a student does not cite her/his sources, she/he is plagiarizing and, consequently, will receive 0 credit for the assignment. Cite all information borrowed throughout the essay in parenthetical format as well as include a works cited page. Student's work cited page does not count as part of the word count. As for submitting the essays, students will do so through the assignment window on Webcourses. Students will need to copy and paste the essay into the text box. Credit will not be given for attached assignments. 2 points will be deducted for each calendar day the essay is late for a maximum of 3 calendar days. After 3 calendar days the essay will no longer be accepted for credit.
