The axis of a 5-in.-radius disk is fitted into a slot that forms an angle θ = 30° with the vertical. The disk is at rest when it is placed in contact with a conveyor belt moving at constant speed. Knowing that the coefficient of kinetic friction between the disk and the belt is 0.20 and neglecting bearing friction, determine the angular acceleration of the disk while slipping occurs.
