During a BOD test, 2 mL of waste water having a DO of 0 was mixed with 298 mL of dilution water having a DO of 8.9 mg/L. After 5 days and 20 days, it was noted that the DO of the test bottle was 4.0 and 2.5 respectively, and that the oxygen concentration of dilution water oxygen concentration of dilution water dropped to 8.7 mg/L and 8.6 mg/L respectively. What is the BOD5 in this case? During routine analysis it was found that the water contains 30 ppm of ammonia. Determine the actual CBOD and NBOD of wastewater. Can you find BOD10 from this test?
