An engineering firm is involved in selecting a computer system, and the choice has been narrowed to two manufacturers. The firm submits eight problems to the two computer manufacturers and has each manufacturer measure the number of seconds required to solve the design problem with the manufacturer's software. The times for the eight design problems are given below.
