Community National Bank is using an observational study to examine the utilization of its new 24-hour banking machine. Of 300 males who used the machine last week, 42% made two or more transactions before leaving. Of 250 female users during the same period, 50% made at least two transactions while at the machine.

At the 0.10 level, do males and females differ significantly in terms of making multiple transactions? Determine and interpret the p-value for this test, then construct and interpret the 90% confidence interval for π1 - π2.
