Determine what analysis would you do on each problem (ie, one-sample z-test, one-sample t-test, proportion test, two-sample independent t-test, or paired test)?  Then state the null and alternative hypothesis for a problem.

A researcher believes the mean height of men now is more than the mean height during the 18th century.  He knows the mean height of men in the 18th century was 5'5.5". He measures the heights of 25 men from this century and finds the mean and standard deviation for his sample.
