Scenario: You own a new resort on a small Caribbean island that is scheduled to open the following year. Develop and submit an organizational chart (PowerPoint) for your new venture, describe the type of structure and explain why it is appropriate Ten years have passed and the Caribbean club now own 112 resorts and 3 cruise ships. A recent customer profile shows that 50% of its customers are repeat business and are older than 40 years old. The current marketing theme is out of date and the fears of skin cancer and a recession have reduced the demand for the club's services. How does the club adapt to these new realities? Develop and submit a revised, up-to-date organization chart (PowerPoint), describe the type of structure and explain why it is appropriate. Specific Instructions: Submit your completed project as a PowerPoint Presentation (6 to 7 slides) as follows: (1 Slide) Title Slide (1 Slide) Organizational Chart - Original (2-3 Slides) Commentary in bullet points to address the question posed above, "How does the club adapt to these new realities?" (1 Slide) Organizational Chart - Revised (1 Slide) Your personal "lessons learned" from this assignment: 3-5 bullet points Additional Guidance: This exercise requires you to use your own ingenuity and creativity based on what you learned from Designing Organizational Structures. Include roles and select a form of departmentalization that you think would be necessary. Feel free to use any type of chart that you like; the choices are endless.
