A cantilever beam with an interior exposure condition is subjected to a concentrated end force V= 2.88 × 10N.

The RC data are: concrete, f'c = 20.68 MPa, width b = 300 mm, height h = 600 mm, reinforcement depth d = 560 mm; transverse steel reinforcement, Asv = 127.1 mm2, fy = 413 MPa, ss = 200 mm.

It is required to design the FRP shear strengthening for both continuous and discontinuous distribution utilizing the following FRP material:  f'fu = 3640 MPa,  ε'fu = 0.016, tf = 0.2 mm.
