Case Study: Students are required to choose a business organisation using key theoretical knowledge from class and broader reading and critically analyse the organisation and using SWOT and PEST.

Question 1 • Describe the Internal organisation including historical development of the organisation, barriers encountered, mission, ownership, organisational structure (demonstrating the theory studied the options and analyse current structure), products and services provided, staff functions, competitive advantage, quality awards etc. (25%)

Question 2 • Perform and discuss the reasons for conducting a PEST analysis and explain the possible implications of each PEST factor identified for the organisation (35%)

Question 3•  Identify reasons for a SWOT and TOWS analysis and carry out a swot and tows analysis for your organisation and discuss the implications of each element for the organisation (at least three strengths and three weaknesses) moving forward (35%)

It is important that you investigate the implications for the organisation of each element of the SWOT, TOthree thousendwords max. There will be a 10% penalty for words in excess of +/-10% of word count.
Presentation including Harvard referencing and structure 5%.
