Assignment title - What Makes an Effective Team?

Scenario: When people work in teams it helps the organisation achieve its objectives. The organisation that you work for has asked you to carry out some research into identifying various types of teams that exists in organisations. You may find it easy to carry out the research if you focus on one particular organisation.
Task 1: For this task you need to describe teams that exist in Tesco that you are familiar with, what are the benefits of teams when used in different situations in the workplace? Are these teams formal or informal? What is the purpose of each team? Give as much information about the team as possible.
Decide in your team how you would like your team to function. If you are going to appoint a team leader, which approach would you like the team to adopt? Each member of your team should justify in 200 words the approach that they would be most in favour of.
