Question - Oakland Officer Johannes Mehserle was found guilty of the 2009 killing of Oscar Grant while trying to subdue him before a possible arrest. Mehserle's defense is that he meant to use his taser to gain control of this situation. Instead, Mehserle shot Grant in the back with his pistol. Oakland, CA prosecutors argued that Mehserle lost all control and shot Grant because he was resisting arrest.
