Assignment:

Mark is a 50 year old veteran who suffers from PTSD and exhibits behaviors like avoidant behavior, negative thinking patterns, anxious behaviors and arousal induced fits of rage.

FUNCTION BASED Intervention strategies have been implemented such as increasing preference, interest in activity, modifying instructional delivery with tone of voice, altering length of tasks and assuring activities are functional in order to reduce marks behavior.

Prompting strategies and prompt fading such as verbal, visual cues have also been implemented.

1.) Describe any function-based schedules of reinforcement, such as differential reinforcement of the alternative (DRA), differential reinforcement of other behavior (DRO), or non-contingence reinforcement strategy (NCR). For example, describe the specific fixed or variable ratio or interval schedules that can be implemented in these function based strategies and how they would work.

2.) Describe the plan for thinning reinforcement. For example, describe the plan to thin reinforcement.

3.) Describe a self-management strategy. For example, describe a self-management strategy which would be beneficial for mark in order for them to monitor their own behavior instead of relying on another person.
