A uniform slender bar of mass m and length 2b is mounted in a right-angle frame of negligible mass. The bar and frame rotate in the vertical plane about a fixed axis at O. If the bar is released from rest in the vertical position (θ = 0) derive an expression for the magnitude of the force exerted by the bearing at O on the frame as a function of θ.
