Question: Historical realizations of Marxism and communism are remembered as violent and unprosperous. Communism offers tantalizing peace from the grueling labours of capitalism by means of revolutionary resistance of the working class against the ruling class, but peace is not so easily achieved. Revolution can be polarizing and the amount of lives lost is often far more than expected (Richmond 77-78).
