Permanganate, MnO4, decomposes in a solution that is in equilibrium with the atmosphere in accordance with the following reaction,

4MnO4 + 4H = 4MnO2 + 2H2O + 3O2

The equilibrium constant for this reaction is 10^+68.
a) If MnO4 = 10^-10 M and pH = 7, is the reaction at equilibrium or proceeding to the right or the left?

b) if the reaction is not in equilibrium for the conditions in part a, calculate the pH at which the reaction will be at equilibrium if MNO4 = 10^-10 M.
