When we look at companies today it is important to have steps in place to continually make improvements. It can come in many forms from a host of continual improvement tools like benchmarking or six sigma. Another area of improvement comes from how a company views its processes. For instance processes like just-in-time and lean can help a company eliminate waste and improve the work they are doing. For each company, they need to strive for what is going to work best for them as they work toward improvements that are going to make them more competitive. Libell & Son is no different and has to constantly be working to eliminate waste that can affect the bottom line.

Define the just-in-time process and the lean process. You are also asked to provide two types of wastes that the lean process identifies and how they might be applied in helping Libell & Son to make improvements within the company.
