Often organizations maintain the same structure for many years and wonder why they are having difficulty meeting their goals. Some of this may be a lack of knowledge of the impact the organization's structure has on its success. Some of this may stem from managers and top leaders not being aware of the availability of different types of organizational structures. For this Assignment, you examine ideas for creating a structure that is unique to a particular organization. It is important to know the impact of structure on an organization. Consider whether the structure that exists is helping your company achieve its objectives or if the structure has outlived its usefulness.

Think about your current organization (or one that you have some knowledge and/or experience with) or one that you have read about in the news. Be prepared to do additional research on the company to be sure you have enough information to complete the Assignment.
Prepare your paper using proper APA format. Include proper APA citations and references where appropriate.

Your paper should include the following:

Based on the organization you selected, provide background information of the organization (e.g., history, type of business, business function).

Describe the current structure using both Morgan's use of metaphors and Bolman and Deal's use of frames.

Explain whether the current organizational structure is the best structure for the organization or if you would recommend a different structure.

In either case, provide evidence for choosing the structure you selected.
