Lead(II) acetate was used as a sweetener for wine in the Roman Empire. Because lead is toxic to the human body, some historians consider this to be the cause of dementia that affected many Roman Emperors and could be a partial reason for the downfall of the Roman Empire. Using your knowledge of chemistry, describe at least one method that could be used to remove lead(II) acetate from a sample of wine.
