Wilbur’s Machine Shop has been in operation for 30 years and it employs 25 machinists none of whom are women or minorities. All new applicants are also required to be able to lift 50 pounds. Anne’s employment is rejected since she has a low credit score and does not have a high school degree. She files a discrimination lawsuit. The CEO Wilbur has requested a report from you in the human resources department providing opinions and answers to the following questions:
