You are the leader of a U.S. publicly traded corporation which has identified a very lucrative market for your products in a certain foreign country. You are certain that the annual profits of your corporation will increase 100% if you engage in commerce with that foreign country. The U.S. government has diplomatic relations with that country and there are no legal obstacles in your way. To effectively tap this lucrative market, your corporation would have to locate operations in that country which will require relocating approximately 1,000 current employees from the U.S. to that country. That country openly discriminates against men and heterosexuals. It also blatantly violates environmental laws and bribery is a normal part of ordinary business transactions.
