'Crash’ is the Academy Award Winning movie dealing with racism and bigotry at a very intense, emotional level. It tends to have some graphic language. I will expect you to go deeper here by sharing your honest feelings about the questions. For this, there are no correct answers for your feelings you will share after seeing the movie and answering the questions. Students will be expected to answer all of the questions related to each film analysis criteria

Assignment You will choose two characters from the movies, “Crash.”

1. The first character you choose will be one you feel you have something in common with in the view of diversity. For that character, describe the following: a. How are we alike? What view(s) on diversity did I have in common with the character?

2. The second character you choose is someone who you did not like and disagreed with his or her view of diversity. In each case compare and contrast your point of view with the characters point of view. Give a few examples.

3. As a final part of the paper, share a “crash” moment in your life. This is when you have been racist (knowingly or unknowingly) to someone. Also, share a time someone was racist or bigoted towards you. These are your crash moments.
