Problem: Higher productivity allows the organisation to be competitive by minimising the inputs needed to generate a given outputs. High levels of productivity will result in more output per unit of inputs, thereby leading to greater profitability. If an organisation maximises the use of its inputs, minimises wastage and achieves its daily production benchmarks, productivity levels will reach an optimal level, helping the company to maximise profits.
