As a systems analyst at an organization, you have been assigned a newly proposed project: development and implementation of a Customer Relationship Management System. After getting the assignment, you attend a meeting with the primary user/customer of the intended system to discuss your plan/schedule of activities, starting with planning tasks and ending with implementation and maintenance. The customer then says, “We need to speed this up. I don’t see a need to engage in all this upfront pen and paper stuff. Let’s get on with it and start programming this system!”
