Report applying in-depth Operations Management philosophies, principles and themes identified below for an Organisation based in Oman. You could critically evaluate and analyse the Operation Management within your own company or any Company based in Oman.
Imagine you are the Operations Manager of the Company that you have identified. You are commissioned and tasked by the Senior Management of your Company to advise them on how to improve and enhance its Management of Operations in various stages and phases of the following areas:
- Capacity Management
- Process Flow Management/Work Flow Streams
- Supply Chain Management
- Lean and Waste Management
- Quality Management
- Business Analytics Tools and Techniques
You can also include other elements from your own background research about the Case Company that you have selected. You MUST include relevant pictures, visuals, diagrams, tables, charts, process flows, exhibits, graphics, illustrations, figures and plans as appropriate to support your evaluation and analysis (these report tools are NOT part of the word count).
REPORT Structure
Notes for individual assignment
- Executive summary not part of word count
- Minimum 1 page and max 1.5 pages
- Only one paragraph you can write about company inside the report ( if you want to write more include this in appendixes
- Each element should you mention (input, process, transformation, output and add value) in tables Then you have to explain and critique each one
- Executive summary should included 5 Ws What, when, where, why, who

Body of report:
- Introduction: 2 pages of why you select the 10 elements of operation management
- For each element : show input , process , output, added value
- you have to provide paragraph for each element with positive , right or negative scenarios
- give example of each element
- overall recommendation should be in 2 pages
- conclusion 1 page include summary of what you achieve in report ( should not have any thing new )
