Assessment Task Instructions:
Title: Emerging Technologies in Healthcare: Interprofessional Applications and Practitioner Wellbeing
This presentation allows students to critically evaluate an emerging healthcare technology and its impact on both interprofessional collaboration and the health and wellbeing of team members. Students will analyse how technology affects not only patient care but also the capability and resilience of professionals within the team. Get expert-level assignment help in any subject.
Your presentation should address the following question;
"How is chosen emerging technology transforming healthcare delivery and interprofessional collaboration, and what are the implications for the wellbeing and capability of professionals using it?"
Part 1.
Choose an emerging healthcare technology (e.g. AI in diagnostics, telehealth, robotic surgery, wearable tech, clinical decision support systems).
Describe the technology and the need it addresses.
Analyse its impact on interprofessional team function:
Communication, shared decision-making, and role delineation
Patient care quality and safety
Evaluate its effects on practitioner health and wellbeing:
Stress, cognitive load, workload changes
Technology-related burnout or support
Changes to autonomy, professional identity, or role satisfaction
Propose strategies to support self and others in adapting to and thriving with this technology in practice.
Support your discussion with current research and examples.
Part 2.
Create a power point and record a video presentation addressing the above prompts.
Introduce yourself and provide an overview of the video.
Discuss the allocated topic using your PowerPoint presentation.
You need to demonstrate an application of critical thinking.
Conclude your presentation, summing up the main points discussed.
You can record your presentation in PowerPoint and then upload it to Panopto or just record it in Panopto.
Presenter must be visible in the video (your student card must be on your title slide so the marker can verify who you are)
You need to upload both your presentation and PPT slides.
Remember a large portion of your grade is your presentation skills. Look smart and make eye contact with the listener (via the camera). The more interesting and engaging you are, the better your presentation grade will be.

Formatting your PPT Slides
Develop a presentation using PowerPoint.
Sans serif fonts (e.g. Calibri or Arial) are easier to read at a distance.
Referencing your PPT Slides
You must include at least 5 references, of less than 7 years, which need to be included in-text and an end text reference list, these must be either peer reviewed journal articles or from books (WEBSITES ONLY FOR PICTURES) In-text end text references can be made in a smaller font.
If you use images in your presentation, you must reference them. Clip art from Microsoft Office doesn't require full citation, but a brief in-text note such as Image from Microsoft PowerPoint (in font size 7 or 8) is recommended, as markers may ask about the source.
