You have just been hired to complete your internship at the local historical museum. The museum is creating an exhibit on ancient river civilizations. You are in charge of the Egypt section of the exhibit. You must decide on the five most important ancient Egyptian contributions to include in the museum.

What to consider:

As you have learned, the ancient Egyptians contributed considerably to the ancient river civilizations. You must carefully consider all of these contributions. Then you must decide on the five most important achievements or contributions to include in the museum.

How to plan:

Think of a way to show those achievements in a museum setting. For example, you might want to show a scale model of a pyramid to represent ancient Egypt's improvements in mathematics. Remember, a museum exhibit can include models, artifacts, and photographs, in addition to text.

Special consideration:

The curator of the museum has one special requirement. The special requirement is that one of the contributions must still be used in the world today.

How to present your creation:

Create a presentation to describe the five contribution or achievements and how they will be exhibited. Each of your five contributions should name the contribution, include a graphic, include a brief description of why you choose the contribution, and how you will display the contribution in your museum.
