As well as having a specific concept for your building, your design idea should show your understanding of the basic typologies of signage systems and their specific requirements.
At a minimum, must include detailed design for: General information, direction indicators, destination indicators, floor identification, facilities identification. (include at least 3 rendered contextual perspectives, dimensions, general materiality and detailed description)
Board layout must clearly visually speak to the previous submission and/or building design concept.
Please account for one or more suitable languages required for the project's location.
Computer Software requirements -
As with other submissions in this course, you MUST use Adobe InDesign to create your board layouts.
Of course additional software or hand drawing techniques can be used to create your graphics and presentation materials.
For all Graphic work, you MUST include the original graphic files in native format if you want to be assessed on your technical graphic skills. ( so all .idd, .psd .ai files should be included in your soft copy upload)
