Create one social and emotional learning activity. Lesson/Activity plan should be developmentally appropriate and based on ages 8 month olds. The plan should include at least two objectives, materials needed, sufficient directions/procedures, and an assessment to determine if lesson objectives were met. The lesson should include a one-page rationale justifying how your lesson is developmentally appropriate. Use at least three citations from readings so far in the course or include other relevant citations. Specific lesson plan details are listed below.

Activity 1: Getting to Know Your Students

Directions: Create or choose a meaningful, whole-class activity that honors and values your students as unique individuals (e.g., student interest activities or projects, journaling, short biography). Give each student in your class the opportunity to participate in the activity so that you can gather information relevant to your student's interests, and then respond to the guiding prompts below.
