While visiting one of the AutoSuds locations, Megan was surprised to be taken aside by Steve, a long-term employee, who met her as she was parking her car. He said, "Megan, I need to talk to you. Tim [the store manager], told me I was suspended for two days without pay because I came in late last Thursday." He continued, "I'm really upset, but around here the store manager's word seems to be law, and it sometimes seems like the only way anyone can do anything about it is to ambush you or your dad in the parking lot."

Megan was very concerned by the revelation and promised Steve that she would look into the situation and get back to him with what she came up with.
