You have been hired by a company as a Human Resource Generalist to create a Human Resources Department for the organization. You will be the only employee in this department for the foreseeable future.

Write an 800 - 1200 word paper for this assignment and format it according to APA 6th edition.

Include the following:

Create a 6-month plan of things you want to focus on. This can be in a timeline structure (with detailed notes - Appendix in paper) or as a proposal. Include illustration of the time line to visualize the 6-month implementation plan and label activities and deliverables.

Identify at least three (3) factors that need to be considered in the formulation of this department. Explain why and connect the three factors to the four disiciplines. Include examples.

Include at least four (4) different disciplines that are in the structure of a Human Resources Department and a brief description of each. Include examples.

Explain how the Human Resource department aligns with the organization's strategic plan, and serves the individual employee. Include examples.

Format your paper consistent with APA guidelines (6th edition)

Use your course materials to blend HRM theory with workplace practices and be sure to cite sources per APA.
