Summarize The counselor Mr. rogers greeted, Gloria upon arrival to the counseling session with a firm handshake. Gloria walked in with a little uncertinty , as they contiued the cnveration she begin to loosen up some . Gloria is divorced and has gone through counseling before, she is trying to adjust to the single life. Her main struggle is dealing with her nine year old daughter that suffers with emotional issues. Gloria seems to be nervous dong the interview. Her main focus is that she lied to her daughter and is wantiing Mr. Rogers to tell her if it will effect her daugher if she was completly open and honest or because she lied. Glory seemed to beb very forward coming, open and concerned with her daughter feeling towards her because she lied. Mr. Rogers listened to Gloria concerns and interjected only when she asked a question. He did not ask probing questions to get a glimpse of the past to better assit Gloria. Some things I woudve elaborated on wouldve been self-determination. Gloria had sympathy for her daught. Mr. Rogers did not ask any questios in response to Gloria feelings. Gloria is struggling with acceptance.
