Building a Sales Team

This week you learned about the valuable contributions that different members can make to a sales team. Think about a sales team that you would like to build to help with a special project or hobby that you have. Think about the different talents you might need on that team.

Build a sales team on paper. Describe five positions you may develop for your sales team and what skills you would like the people who fill those jobs to have. Your team should have a leader, a person in charge of communication, a support person, and two people responsible for personal selling.

Include the following in your paper:

Prepare the job descriptions for each of the positions. Include education, experience, and other skills, such as computer or selling skills.

Include a list of who will be in charge and how people will report to this person. You may write this as a paragraph or if you prefer, prepare a chart that shows the relationship.

This assignment should be approximately 300 to 350 words (about 1 - 2 pages double spaced). Complete this assignment as a Word document.
