Lawyer billboard on the freeway. There is a picture of a single man in a suit with the tagline, "Got into an accident? Call us, we can help," with the phone number listed.
Lawyer's email always has the following sign-off: I am the best trial lawyer in the state. Do not make the mistake of picking another lawyer when you can choose James K. Pick as your lawyer.
TV commercial comes on. The accident victim shares his traumatic incident of being struck by a motorcyclist. "My lawyer got me $3.4 million in recovery. She can help you, too." At the bottom of the TV commercial, in small print, is a disclaimer "Results not typical. Individual results may vary, and recovery will depend on the individual facts of your case. We make no guarantees."
A lawyer (who generally practices in civil court) recently defended and won her first and only criminal defense case for a long-time client. Her website now lists vague details of the criminal trial win and says "Criminal Attorney."
