Are there any actions that would violate your conscience as a (future) healthcare practitioner and that you would refuse to perform or participate in? 2- According to the moral principle of cooperation with evil, when someone participates in the "evil" or immoral actions of another person, they become indirect accomplices in this act. For example, according to this principle, giving a gun to someone you know will use this gun to go kill someone would be a "cooperation" on your part in the killing. Similarly, knowingly buying stolen goods is a "cooperation" in the theft. Finally, pharmacists who believe that contraception is immoral would consider that filling a prescription for a contraceptive for a patient would implicate them in what they deem to be an immoral action of another person; and this violates their conscience. If a pharmacist holds this belief, would you still ask or expects them to violate their conscience?
