You just visited a friend who is in Barcelona for a Erasmus semester and you did a lot of sightseeing in the beautiful city. You want to know how many kilometers per day on average you walked during your trip. You had recorded the following information and you know that your kilometers walked per day is normally distributed. The standard deviation for your sightseeing in cities is 1.0 km per day.

On the first day you walked 5.6 km, on the second day 7.8 km, on the third day only 5.2 km, on the fourth day 6.6 km, on the fifth day 7.5 km and on the last day 6.4 km.Find a 99% confidence interval for the mean of your kilometers walked per day. This means α = 0.01 ==> α/2 = 0.005 ==> zα/2 = 2.575.
