Assignment - ANOVA
The data set called "WRICOPS-2" contact information about residents' assessment about police and the extent to which they worry about crime in the neighborhood. More than 800 residents provided important information to the research team. Using this dataset and conducting ANOVA analysis, your task is to test the following hypotheses:
a. There will be significant differences among residents who believe level of service is not adequate, about right, and too high in terms of their satisfaction with police.
b. There will be significant differences among residents who believe level of service is not adequate, about right, and too high in terms of been worried about crime.
c. There will be significant differences among residents who believe police presence is too low, about right, and too high in terms of been worried about crime.
d. There will be significant differences among residents that have attained less than high school qualification, high school qualification, and post high school qualification in terms of been worried about crime.
In testing these hypotheses:
1. Remember to treat missing values for any of the variables to be used in the analysis that has missing values by assigning -99.
2. Conduct ANOVA to test each of the four hypotheses.
3. Conduct a follow-up analysis (Post Hoc tests) of all significant tests using Bonferroni.
4. Provide a table for each of the analysis that contains the Means of the groups and the ANOVA results. Also, provide a table that contains the results of the Bonferroni Post-Hoc analysis for each significant test.
5. Interpret your findings for each analysis: The Means, ANOVA results, and the Post-Hoc analysis. As part of your interpretation, you must indicate the groups that are significantly different from others.
Note: Your interpretation should follow each analysis/Table.
