Using a new atomic imaging technique, a study was conducted to measure randomly selected thin films of NaCl on a metal substrate. Four different growth modes were used, and the step height was measured (in nm) in each case.

a. Conduct a one-way analysis of variance test to determine whether there is an overall difference in population mean step heights. Use a = 0.05.

b. Construct the Bonferroni 99% confidence intervals to isolate any population means contributing to an overall difference, and draw a graph to represent the results.
