Q1) Successful hotel managers should have personality characteristics frequently thought of as feminine (like "compassionate") as well as those frequently thought of as masculine (such as "forceful"). Bem Sex-Role Inventory (BSRI) is personality test whihc gives separate ratings for female and male stereotypes, both on scale of 1 to 7. A sample of 148 male general managers of three-star and four-star hotels had mean BSRI femininity score = 5.29.Mean score for general male population is μ=5.19. Do hotel managers on average vary significantly in femininity score from men in general? Suppose that standard deviation of scores in population of all male hotel managers is same as the σ=0.78 for adult male population.
