Question: A ladder 3 in long and having a mass of 18 kg is placed with the lower end resting on a rough floor and the upper end against a smooth wall at a point 2.4 m above the floor. If the value off = 0.2, will the ladder remain in position? The weight of the ladder is assumed to act at the midpoint of its length.
