The energy of activation of an uncatalyzed reaction is 60 kJ/mol. The energy of activation is reduced to 25 kJ/mol for the enzyme catalyzed reaction. Please calculate the rate constant of the catalyzed and uncatalyzed reactions. How many folds of rate enhancement are produced by the enzyme? The rate constant is 13.46 but what is the nuber of folds of enhancement that are produced by the enzyme?
