Consider the above unbalanced equation. A sample of sodium reacts with excess water. If 545 mL of H2 at a barometric pressure of 745 mm Hg and 25.0°C is collected by displacement of water, calculate the mass of the sodium. The vapor pressure of water is 23.8 mm Hg at 25.0°C. Use molar masses with at least as many significant digits as the data given.
