Suppose we add 1 g of solid ice at 0 degrees celsius to 4 g of liquid water at 10 degrees celsius and the system reequilibrates at 0 degrees celsius.

a) Calculate how much water must melt in order to reach exactly 0 degrees celsius at thermal equilibrium.

b) Calculate the entropy changes for ice, liquid water and the total entropy change.
