You are a scientist on the Starship Enterprise going where no man has gone before. On some distant planet, you find a mineral that contains an element you haven't seen before. Analysis of this mineral gives you the following data: there are five different isotopes of this element; atomic number is 119; the mass numbers of the isotopes are 295, 296, 297, 298, 299; the percent of each isotope present is 2.356%, 4.325%, 15.652%, 48.452%, and 29.215% respectively. Calculate the average molar mass of this element. The mass of the neutron is 1.67262164 × 10324 g and the mass of the proton is 1.67492721 × 10324 g. Assume for each isotope, the mass defect (that is, the mass of the neutrons and protons that is converted into nuclear binding energy) is 0.77132613 %.
